C.R.A.P
What Is C.R.A.P Design?
C.R.A.P. stands for contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity; here are some examples to helps us understand what C.R.A.P design really is:
1.- Contrast: Being able to tell the difference between all different elements in your design, creating a path or flow for the eye to follow and avoid elements on the page that are merely similar to each other.
2.- Repetition: Repeating different visual elements such as consistency in colors, fonts, line thickness, shapes, textures etc. All of these give consistency to our web page and thus makes it easier to navigate.
3.- Alignment: When we say about aligning our web page, we mean that everything is placed there for a reason. If we underlined a hover link than all hovered links should be underlined, this gives us a much better consistency across our design.
4.- Proximity: Everything in our page has to be grouped in sort of fashion order this helps organize our and keep clutter away.
Sometimes we look at a web page and not even knowing what the content is, we skip it. This is usually because it lacks C.R.A.P. The first impression of a website should always be inviting not excluding, being able to notice all of our different elements in our design is crucial for the viewer to familiarize with the web page.

What is RSS?
Also known as "Really Simple Syndication" , "Web Feed" or "Channel" is a way a website notifies you when they update/upload information to their website such as blog entries, news and other related matter. Web feed can be a very powerful tool ranging from web developers to everyday web users, saving time and making the web an intuitive and a powerful source of information.
Web feed has changed the way we access web for information, by this I mean that not all of us use firefox, safari or even internet explorer, others access the web from a mobile device or some other type of smart phone.
When we look back and see that web feed has changed a significantly amount in the past 10 years it makes me wonder in what way is it going to change in say 15 years when the world wide web is going to be something very different than it is in this very moment. Because almost all web users are always looking for ways of staying connected and informed web feed is the ultimate tool and almost an essential tool for anyone who is always looking to be on top of things.
